My name is Merle Fedders and I have been fishing for over 60 years! Let me take you out on a Costa Rica Fishing Charter or an Playa Tambor Island Tour that you will never forget!
Whether it is your first fishing trip or if you are a
seasoned fisherman you will want to experience the charm of Playa Tambor, Costa Rica!
If you happen to be in town, feel free to stop by for a cerveza, I am at the casa across from the Iglesia Church in Pochote, Costa Rica.
The small fishing hamlet of Playa Tambor sits not far from Curu National Wildlife Refuge. This small village boasts some of the best sport-fishing in Central America!
As a laid back, mixed-community of locals and foreign retirees, Tambor is nestled in an open volcanic valley, surrounded by forested hills.
Its beach, Playa Tambor, is an exceptional location for swimming. The surf is calm and of course the fishing is amazing!
Inshore Fishing Charter
(Tuna, Wahoo, Mahi, Makerel) includes 5 hours of fishing for US$390. This includes all fishing equipment, bait, life jackets plus fresh fruit, ice ,water, and drinks.
Offshore Fishing Charter
(Sailfish/Marlin) includes 8 hours of fishing for US$650. This includes all fishing equipment, bait, life jackets plus sandwiches, fresh fruit, ice, water and drinks.
Island Tortuga Tour
Includes 5 hours of boating with drinks and snorkeling gear. The price is US$45 per person or US$55 per person with a barbeque dinner. Minimum 4 people required.
Morning/Afternoon
Fishing Charter
(mackerel, red snapper, barracuda, amber jack) Includes 2 1/2 hours of fishing leaving from the boat launch in Pochote. Best times to go are 8am until 10:30am or 3pm until 5:30pm. The price is $155.00 for 1-6 people.
